Not since 2003 have Paul's LACALIANA Angels and Gord's (now) Toronto Blue Jays, faced off in the World Series. A tough seven-game series with the Detroit Tigers in getting here for Toronto; and another seven games deciding this one.

Angels win their 8th P.B. Cup, while Gord drops his eighth. Math in language is still bittersweet.

Well, Gord's high powered offence against my evenly distributed lineup.   Pitching staffs are pretty close so the series didn't disappoint.

Game 1 - Castillo vs Biebs - Pitching duel until the 6th when Gissum hits a 3 run shot to take the lead - I get 2 back on 3 hits but Gord gets some insurance in the 8th and wins it with Phillips the save.

Game 2 - Rodon vs Cobb - A leftie against Gord is never very good and Gord starts off with 2 from a HR from that fat fuck Jay catcher - But Cobb is his #4 guy for a reason and I hit him big in the 2nd with multiple hits and get a 5 spot - Keep hitting and walking and have 14 baserunners through 5 INN - Gord tries to fight back but end up winning it 8-4.

Game 3 - In the Sky Dome now so maybe I can hit a HR for once - Verlander is back after a successful SF and he goes against Max - Trout and JRam homer in the first against that stiff for 4 run lead then add 1 more HR by Arenado and have a 5-2 lead going into the 7th - Gord has missed 3 1-10 HR and I get my leftie Vogie going for a 1-4 and makes it with caps now flying everywhere, glad he didn't hit my trophy - End up winning it 8-2 for a series lead but injure Beni for another game.

Game 4 - Alcantra vs McKenzie - I am getting smacked around early from that Gissum again and Soto hits his 2nd so down 4-0 after 2 - I am starting to hit homers finally (1-2 or an out for Realmuto) and make it 4-3 - But Gord puts together some more hits off my top setup guys and wins in 5-3 to tie the series.

Game 5 - Biebs vs Castillo again - Trout homers in the 1st for a 3-0 lead and Castillo shutting down his lineup until the 5th when Gord gets a couple back - I hit 2 late HR's and end up winning it 6-3.

Game 6 - Rodon vs Cobb - Rodon is a 5e0 and do you think that the error rating came into play at all?  No, just 19s which he got 3 hits from this game - I finally hit a HR in my park, Vogie again in the first - Gord has loaded his lineup with stiffs that only hit lefties but it works as Rodon is getting pounded each inning and he takes a 3-1 lead after 5 and Rodon is finished but I skated out of many jams where Gord was missing lots to break it open - Now I am pitching righties so Gord has to change his lineup and have my leftie in the bullpen waiting - In the 7th, Gord's filthy closer Phillips in the game,  I get some men on, bases loaded and go home on a flyout and get the run - Bases loaded again and Springer hits a 2 run single to take the lead - Gord has lefties now in so Suarez comes in the bottom of the ninth to get the save and the win 4-3 and the series 4-2.

Paul - Trout 3, Arenado 3, Vogie 3, Realmuto 2, JRam 2, Springer

Since Vogie was the only guy to hit a HR in my park and he made several plays at first where Gord could not get past his 5e30 at first (more 19s) he is my WS MVP!
